#Best metal albums of the 2000s series

After releasing aВ highly successful double album, which almost won this spot, they put out the album that I believe set them apart from every other band at the time. The Foo Fighters have been putting out great albums since the mid вЂ™90s, but really started making noise in the вЂ™00s. (In no particular order) Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007) вЂ“ By Foo Fighters Some will say these changes sucked and that these band are not rock, others will tell you that it has made the genre less predictable and kept it alive in a time when pop and hip hop rule the radio, but whoвЂ™s right? ThatвЂ™s a whole debate in itвЂ™s own, but I can tell you that some of the bands making music in this decade really showed why rock вЂnвЂ™ roll will never die, a lot of those bands are on this list. While a lot of classic rock bands were proving to the world that they still had plenty of great tunes to unleash on the us, a lot of new bands were bringing in different styles and changing up the genre. I know a lot of people will say вЂњthere were no important albums for rock in the 2000sвЂќ, even though the genre has taken many turns and is no longer as good as it once was, there still are some great bands and albums.Д«y the time the new millennium rolled around, most rock fans had given up on new artist in the genre.

So you will notice that even though Metallica, AC/DC, and Aerosmith all had good albums come out in the вЂ™00s, since IвЂ™ve picked each of these groups in prior decades,В they will be excluded from this list.

#Best metal albums of the 2000s series

Although the series is named вЂњBest of RockвЂќ, itвЂ™s important to know that the albums IвЂ™m listing arenвЂ™t what I consider the best (although some I would), but the ones I feel were most important to the genre of rock вЂnвЂ™ roll duringВ the decadeВ they were released in.В IвЂ™ve excluded live albums and greatest hits, and to keep the same artist from reappearing over and over on my list, I only pick one album by a band and no more.

Over the past five weeks I have gone through time, starting with the 1960s and working my way up, listing the ten most important rock albums from each decade. All good things must come to an end, and so must this вЂњBest of RockвЂќ series.
